Lindsey’s career in food began 25 years ago at the prestigious Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly London, where she became the Food Buyer for Grocery, Tea & Coffee, Chocolate & Confectionery. During her 8 years at Fortnum & Mason, Lindsey was involved in the masterplan to redesign the new split level Food Hall, with a main focus on the Chocolate and Confectionery counter displays. 

Lindsey joined Selfridges as the Grocery Buyer in 2011, heading up the Food Hall with exciting new monthly food themes, launching new and exclusive brands including Joe&Seph’s Popcorn and introducing the American brand Popchips to the UK. 

Lindsey’s food buying skills then reached across to the EU, heading up the Brindisa Spanish Foods retail and wholesale part of the business, ensuring the flagship store in Borough Market continued to be a destination place for local and international foodies, and collaborating with the Brindisa Tapas restaurant chefs to ensure the freshest and highest quality seasonal foods were served across the Brindisa restaurants. 

Lindsey has also worked on a variety of other consultancy projects, including launching the new restaurants within Liberty of London, creating food markets across the UK, installing new EPoS systems into a chain of food retail shops across London, developing a range of hampers with accompanying catalogue and online food businesses. 

With a Masters degree in Food and Grocery Management and being a Great Taste Awards judge, Lindsey offers a wealth of retail and catering knowledge and experience from supplier relations, trading terms, product buying, pricing and ranging.
