I’ve wanted to share my Customer Experience philosophy, and in particular how I learned it through a series of adventures in retail, for many years. I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to do so in a recent interview with Museums + Heritage Advisor magazine, which you can read here.
The interview was conducted by telephone, whilst I was at the Spring Fair,and you can almost feel the adrenaline that I always get from spending time with so many innovative and successful retailers and suppliers!
My favourite story concerns a unique product that was created for the Buckingham Palace Shop, and which ended up in the personal collection of the late Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire – whose POSITIVE philosophies on retailing and Customer Experience remain an example to all customer-facing businesses.
